A Summer Bathroom & Closet, Part 4

Drywall is Hung and Closet Walls are Being Readied for Cabinetry

Drywall is probably the most boring in the process along with being the most stressful. We do all we can to maintain the dust and tracking through the home. It appears as if nothing is really happening during this time as the process includes hanging the rock and then applying three coats of drywall mud and sanding over the course of about a week in this case.

As drywall is finished our lead carpenter Randy started painting the closet in order to begin closet cabinet installation. The beginning of eye candy for our customers! This is going to be one incredible boutique closet with tons of storage.  The cabinetry is a soft gray and is complimented by blue walls. The finishing touches will pull everything together.

Making the proper arrangements for being removed from your bedroom is very important in keeping the stress level down and knowing where your day to day belongings are. Christine is a happy camper living in the lower level finished basement. The clothes have found a home in the pool room with everything accessible and visible. She has even found a location for a dressing table at the bar counter!

This project will take approximately 8 weeks to complete, and we will continue to share photos and the inspirations for materials and layout throughout our progress on Houzz. We are excited for you to follow along and invite you to ask questions or offer your comments as we transform these rooms into the spaces our clients desire!
