  • Building the Future of the Trades: Schloegel Design Remodel Welcomes Two High School Apprentices from Herndon Career Center

Last updated on January 27, 2026

We are thrilled to welcome two incredible new apprentices to our team through the Herndon Career Center which is supported by Raytown and surrounding area schools. These young ladies, both high school juniors, applied for our internship program and were selected to join us as part of an apprenticeship that blends hands-on experience with classroom learning. They will be working with our production crew one to two days a week outside of school while continuing their education and earning certifications through Herndon Career Center.

We celebrated this exciting milestone with a signing day at our office, surrounded by their families, our team, and faculty from their schools. It was a proud moment for everyone involved and a reminder of how powerful early career opportunities can be!

Investing in the future of the trades is something we're committed to. Supporting young people who are passionate, curious, and eager to learn helps strengthen our industry for years to come. We feel lucky to work alongside these talented young women and can’t wait to see what they accomplish—both in the classroom and in their future careers!
