Preserving the 1920s charm of their Brookside home, our clients desired modernization. A substantial addition brought a space for gatherings, a mudroom, and a laundry room. We transformed the kitchen, featuring classic white cabinetry with bronze hardware, seamlessly integrated appliances, and Cambria Delgatie™ quartz countertops. A marble-like backsplash with accent tiles and a convenient pot filler complements large pendant lights above the island.

Notably, four rear additions, spanning a new primary suite, expanded kitchen, family room, and mudroom, redefined the space. Custom brass fixtures and built-in cabinetry adorn each room, while the white-on-white palette infuses freshness and welcoming airiness throughout the home.

Wyandotte House

Built in 1910, this three-story Craftsman home features original molding and hardwood floors. The new kitchen, adorned with cabinetry, quartz countertops, and a two-tiered island, prioritizes functionality while embracing the Craftsman style. Upstairs, two bedrooms were merged into a contemporary primary suite, complete with laundry, a two-sided fireplace, and a walk-in closet accessed through a barn door. The primary bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower, heated floor, and floating vanity, gains character from exposed beams, adding warmth.

The house blends modern, vintage, and mid-century elements, exemplified by the black and white kitchen. Soft white cabinets pair with a black island, while warm quartz counters with gold veining elegantly match brushed gold hardware. A patterned porcelain backsplash, custom hood, and mid-century pendants culminate in a harmonious black and white masterpiece.
