Chadwick Street Kitchen & Bathroom
Project by Kelly Summers
Thanks to Kelly, this Leawood kitchen and primary bathroom received complete contemporary upgrades. The original kitchen struggled to shine with its dark wood cabinets and charcoal granite countertops. We brightened up that space with white cabinetry and a matching quartz. The original floors now bring a warm glow to the softer color palette and the herringbone pattern of the new backsplash is a fun feature. The adjacent seating area with fireplace also got an upgrade with the addition of open shelving and lower cabinets.
The bathroom now has two distinct vanities and well-placed storage. In the shower we replaced the dated, white square tile and pan with large format tile walls and a natural pebble floor.
