Here is a photo of our oldest son, Ben along with his dog Sammy.  They dropped by the office the other day.  Ben has just returned from Hawaii where he participated in the world championship Ironman race.  To qualify for this race, Ben participated in the Louisville Ironman where he finished 1st in his age group and 6th overall, out of 3000 racers.  Ben had a great race in Hawaii, finishing 78th out of 2000 world class racers.  Ben had the second best marathon time of any USA racers, finishing it in 3 hours and 2 minutes, this after swimming 1.2 miles and biking 112 miles.  Ben wore bib number 590 in honor of John Glaser, the Shawnee firefighter that lost his life in the line of duty earlier this year.  In addition to being a firefighter, John was also an Ironman participant.  Congratulations Ben on an awesome race.  To find out more about Ben and his racing and training services, check out www.benschloegel.com and www.emgkc.com
