At this Overland Park home we completed a basement bathroom makeover! We removed the vinyl floor and installed new plank tile flooring. In the process the customer had Schloegel pull the existing toilet and place a new comfort height toilet in the bathroom. Installing tile on a concrete slab requires a floating barrier to prevent tile from cracking and “popping”. Kirk, the technician on the job, installed the floating barrier and reset the new toilet to accommodate the change in floor height.
