On Schloegel's Home Advantage Plan, you'll receive:

An Annual Home Assessment:

With the plan, you will receive a comprehensive home assessment. The assessment allows us to catch potential issues before they become larger, more costly problems. We will keep a detailed checklist and document any concerns with photos to help you track changes over time and address issues promptly.  See the home assessment list below.

Priority Scheduling:

Unfortunately, unexpected home emergencies do occur. Should you face a burst pipe, an abrupt leak, or a broken window, rest assured that our team will be there to assist you. With our Advantage Plan, you can count on receiving emergency services to swiftly manage the situation and minimize any potential damage. Moreover, you'll benefit from expedited access (within 72 hours)  to our standard appointments.

Discounts & Perks:

  • 10% off our hourly billing rate (max of 8 continuous hours).
  • 5% discount on trade partner billing.
  • 5% off Handyman project contract price (max $500 annually).
  • 1-hour minimum (our standard 2-hour minimum is waived).
  • Concierge tracking and scheduling of client's preferred home maintenance.

During your annual home assessment, we'll:

  • Look for signs of plumbing leaks.
  • Inspect for signs of electrical overload.
  • Test sump pump function.
  • Inspect for signs of water intrusion.
  • Inspect washing machine supply lines, if accessible.
  • Inspect for signs of wood rot.
  • Test smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and replace batteries.
  • Replace the furnace filter with client-provided filter.
  • Replace light bulbs with client-provided bulbs.
  • Clean the dryer vent.
  • And more!

What types of services do you offer?

Our handyman services include a wide range of home repairs, maintenance, and improvement projects such as:

  • Painting (interior and exterior)
  • Carpentry (furniture repair, deck repair, etc)

  • Electrical work (light fixture installation, outlet repair, etc)

Are your handymen licensed and insured?

Yes, all of our technicians are licensed and insured for your protection and peace of mind. This means that they have passed the necessary tests and background checks to ensure that they are qualified to perform the tasks they are hired for. Also, they are insured in case of any accidental damage or injury that may occur while they are performing their work.

How do I schedule a service?

You can schedule a service by contacting us by phone or email. Our team will be more than happy to help you schedule a time that is convenient for you.

What is your service area?

Our service area includes most of the metro Kansas City area, including Johnson County. If you're unsure if we service your area, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask.

Do you offer free estimates?

For clients on our Advantage Plan there is no consultation fee. Our technicians will come to your property, assess the work that needs to be done, and provide you with a detailed and accurate estimate. This way, you'll have a clear understanding of the costs involved and can make an informed decision about whether to proceed with the work.

How do you determine your pricing?

Our pricing is based on various factors, including the type of service, the complexity of the project, and the materials required. We use fair pricing methodologies that are based on industry standards. Your contract price will include all costs associated with the project, which may include:  materials, labor, disposal of old materials, and dust and floor protection.

Do you provide warranties for your work?

Yes, we stand behind our work and provide a warranty for all services. If there are any issues with our work, your project has a one-year labor warranty, where we will come back and fix them at no additional cost to you. Parts and materials are subject to the manufacturer's warranty.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, checks, and Visa, Mastercard, & Discover credit cards (up to $3,000). We also offer financing options with approved credit.

Do you have a minimum service charge?

It depends on the service and location, please contact us for more information. In general, we do not have a minimum service charge, but some projects may require a minimum service charge depending on the complexity and time required to complete the job
