Schloegel is Honored With Three KC-NARI REMY Awards
Part 3: Outdoor Living Over $100,000, Gold & All-Star
Recently, Schloegel Design Remodel was honored to receive three REMY Awards by the Kansas City Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). These awards are given annually to honor local remodeling projects representing some of the highest quality projects in the Kansas City area.
Entries for the 2013 program were judged on a 100-point system that included project overview, before and after photos, budget considerations, overall aesthetic appeal and communication with the homeowner. Winners had to score at least 85 points. All Star Awards were presented to those entries that achieved 94 or more points. Each entry included a homeowner survey; homeowners judged the remodeling contractor in three areas—completion of contract, communication and finished product.
Outdoor Living Over $100,000, Gold & All-Star: This magnificent new outdoor living retreat includes a spacious curved patio with limestone pavers, natural thin stone veneer on the patio and porch walls, columns and fire pit, and limestone wall caps. The deck features a tile floor, multi-tiered pergola, and a ceiling fan. The screened-in porch has car siding installed on the ceiling and a tile floor that transitions seamlessly to the patio. Subtle accent lighting can be found throughout to provide gentle illumination at the patio and the walkway.
