A Summer Bathroom and Closet Remodel, Part 1

Inspired By Friends & Houzz, This Lee’s Summit Couple is Excited to Update Their Home, and Invite You to Enjoy Watching the Progress

We are starting a very exciting project and hope you will enjoy following our progress. Our customer came to us as a result of watching and seeing the final result of their friend and neighbor’s bathroom remodel. Their home is approximately 15 years old and located in the Winterset subdivision in Lees Summit. Their desire is to update the large primarybathroom and closet in both improving the efficiency and esthetics.

Dan and Christine met with our Design Consultant, Donna Kirsopp, to discuss their wants, needs, and desires. While the bathroom area was efficient, Christine hated the drafty walk-in shower surround with glass block window. The tub area is  almost too large for comfort and takes too long to actually fill and use. Both have a vision of the look of the bath but Dan has some strong opinions and images in mind of a more euro contemporary style. They are both interested in the efficiency of the closet, but Christine’s desire is to create the ultimate boutique closet and has many pictures of her vision. Ahh the challenge: to integrate two very strong styles into one cohesive look throughout!

The design and selection process is complete and the project has begun. We invite you to check out our project folder on Houzz, “A Summer primaryBath and Closet Remodel” for photos of our progress, and our Ideabook “Great Ideas” which shows photos that are providing some of the inspiration for this project.

This project will take approximately 8 weeks to complete, and we will continue to share photos and the inspirations for materials and layout throughout our progress on Houzz. We are excited for you to follow along and invite you to ask questions or offer your comments as we transform these rooms into the spaces our clients desire!
