The Final Reveal: The Green Glass Kitchen
Installing the Countertops
We began by installing the Arctic White Quartz countertops, which instantly elevated the space. The clean lines and seamless edges anchored the room and complemented the high-gloss cabinetry. Not only did the countertops add durability and function, but they also created the crisp, modern foundation this Brookside kitchen needed.

The Painted Back Glass Backsplash
Next came one of the most unique features of this project — the painted back glass backsplash (hence the cute silly marketing name Green Glass Kitchen). Instead of traditional tile, we installed sleek glass panels painted in a rich green tone. We chose to work with large, custom-cut sheets, which meant every move had to be precise.

We worked with Westport Glass and carefully positioned each panel, making sure not to crack or chip the glass while securing it firmly to the wall. Because the pieces were so large and delicate, we handled them with extreme care, double-checking alignment and adhesion before setting them in place. The result was a seamless, modern finish that looks effortless—but required intense focus and teamwork to achieve.
Paint, Lighting & Plumbing Fixtures
Soon after, we moved into painting and final installations. Fresh paint sharpened the architectural lines and brightened the entire space.

Then we installed the appliances, and lighting and plumbing fixtures, carefully aligning each element with the modern design vision.

Finally, it was time for the reveal.

A Quick Reminder — The Before
When we started, the kitchen felt closed off and dated. Heavy finishes and limited light made the space feel smaller than it was. The layout lacked the clean flow and modern functionality our clients wanted.

Not only was the kitchen small and closed off, but the adjacent dining room offered far more space than the clients truly needed.

Because our clients didn’t require a formal dining room, we saw an immediate opportunity. Instead of letting that square footage go underused, we reconfigured the layout to expand the kitchen’s footprint. By doing so, we created a larger, more functional kitchen while still preserving plenty of room for everyday dining.

And Now — The After
Today, the Green Glass Kitchen is bright, modern, and completely transformed.

The high-gloss custom cabinetry reflects light throughout the room.

The painted back glass backsplash adds depth and personality.

The layout flows so naturally, and our clients can easily cook and entertain all in the same space.

Bonus points for no more trips to the basement for kitchen storage items! We turned the back sunroom into a pantry with ample kitchen storage.

Every detail works together — from the sleek fixtures to the clean-lined cabinetry — creating a modern European-inspired kitchen right here in Brookside, Kansas City.
And how sweet are the homeowners in their amazing new kitchen?!

It's really special to see our amazing clients actually living in their newly remodeled spaces.
