Ward Parkway - Kansas City Condo Remodel

Project by Donna Kirsopp

This primary bath and library remodel in Kansas City is a great example of combining pattern and texture to create a completely custom space to showcase a homeowner's personal style. The previously stark office and library is now quiet and cozy with textured wallpaper and a display wall of custom cabinetry in wood tones backed with a pattered, large-format tile. The high gloss tile that made up the floor before is now replaced with hardwood arranged in a herringbone pattern. The primary bath also received a textured wallpaper and features an extended double vanity with printed ceramic tile backsplash, granite countertop, and stained wood drawer and door fronts. The built-in tub was replaced with freestanding one with wall-mounted faucet, completing the spa-like makeover.
