Last week designKC Magazine hosted its first home design awards gala. Out of the 140 total entries from remodelers, builders, and designers throughout Kansas City, 50 awards were given, and Schloegel Design Remodel took home two! Nina Schmidt and Donna Kirsopp are the designers behind the winning projects, and we could not be more excited for them and the entire Schloegel team!

Kitchen and Mudroom Designed by Nina Schmidt
Nina Schmidt designed this kitchen and mudroom for our very own Amy Girard. The finished result is a culinary hub with a vintage feel and all the modern amenities that improve the functionality of busy family life. The boldness of the charcoal countertop, green accents, and honey bronze fixtures balances perfectly with the soft white oak cabinetry, bright natural light, and warm whites of the tile backsplash, making for an overall organic and inviting space.
Whole House Remodel and Addition Designed by Donna Kirsopp
This whole house renovation is a total stunner! Designer Donna Kirsopp knocked this one out of the park with perfect execution of traditional grandeur, modern accents, and gold galore! Classic in overall feel with lighting and fixtures that ground it in the now. We are obsessed with all the intricate finishings and the parquet flooring in the entryway is an absolute wonder.
