Last month, three more Schloegel Design Remodel employees gained advanced certifications in their fields – and we couldn’t be happier!
Education, especially through National Association of the Remodeling Industry certifications, is a top priority here at Schloegel. President and founder Jake Schloegel said that in a world of changing trends, technology and regulations, continuing education is critical to knowing current industry best practices. When employees aren’t encouraged to keep learning, he said that often leads to poor project and design execution.
“Certification through the National Association of the Remodeling Industry is one way to get the training and verification that the training has been successfully completed,” he said. “When looking for a remodeling company to work with, homeowners are much better off working with a company that has certified professionals on staff.
Investing in your people and making sure that your place of work is a place where people can grow serves the community as a whole and that’s an investment we believe in very much.”
In total, Schloegel has 17 staff members with NARI certifications, something to be very proud of. Here’s how the numbers break down:
- 7 Lead Carpenter Certifications
- 4 Certified Remodeler Certifications
- 2 Kitchen and Bath Remodeler Certifications
- 2 Universal Design Certified Professionals
- 1 Green Professional Certifications
- 1 primaryCertified Remodeler Certifications
At the end of the day, Jake said that having the proper education makes sure Schloegel crew members continue to deliver the “ultimate customer experience.”
“With certification comes the peace of mind that you are working with professionals that care about you and your project.”
