This small kitchen in the Waldo area of Kansas City needed a major update. The old cabinets were falling apart and there was little functioning inside them. The old tile countertops were original to the home and nearly impossible to keep clean. We wanted to maintain the character of the home and keep the kitchen’s vintage style.
The new inset style cabinets boast an “oyster” paint finish and feature full-extension drawers with soft-close guides. New Cambria quartz countertops simulate a classic marble look. We combined them with white subway tile to complete the classic look. New shelves on each side of the window display the client’s beautiful dishware collection and make the space light and airy.
