The National Association of Remodeling Industry’s (NARI) Spring Remodeled Home Tour is Saturday, April 13 from 10 – 5 and Sunday, April 14 from 11 – 4. To say we’re excited about the tour this year would be an understatement. We have two whole house projects on the tour this year and they’re so good both of them have recently been showcased in local design magazines!
Stop 8 – Whole House – 12431 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64145
You may have seen this project before as we shared the project’s progress in a blog series Kansas City Contemporary Home Renovation. The second phase of this fabulous contemporary remodel just wrapped up. The home boasts exotic wood cabinets and live-edge slab pieces throughout. The homeowner’s stunning art collection is displayed in custom niches while a suspended reef tank bar entertains the senses. Existing spaces were repurposed to include a prep kitchen, laundry room, and an open loft office. The new iron and glass balustrade enhance the open floor plan.
The home was recently in Kansas City Homes & Style. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this custom, one of a kind contemporary home!
Stop 10 – Whole House – 1203 W. 66th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64113
This is another project you may recognize as we’ve shared its progress as well in The Ward Parkway Renovation. Every square inch of this home has been renovated! A full gut down to the studs and built back creating a whole-house transformation. Four additions off the back of the home include a new primarysuite, kitchen expansion, family room, and mudroom. All the latest in cabinetry, finish materials, lighting and home decor.
The home was recently in Spaces. So much to take in…you will not be disappointed!
If you’re in the market for a remodel, an HGTV fanatic or just love looking at homes don’t miss this tour! Learn more about the other stops on the home tour or buy tickets at remodelingkc.com. We hope to see you there!
