Short versus Tall
Megan said that most people coming into the Ferguson showroom are looking for an a comfort-height toilet. At just under 18-inches tall, It’s technically ADA compatible, but a taller toilet is more comfortable for everyone, making it easy to understand why they’re the most popular option on today’s market.
Of course, because they’re taller, the comfort-height toilet may not be the best option for smaller bathrooms. Luckily, there’s still plenty of options for any height.
One piece versus Two piece toilets
The majority of toilets on today’s market are two-piece, meaning the bowl is bolted to the tank. While generally cheaper than one-piece toilets, they tend to be harder to clean because of the additional surfaces to consider. Expect to see more one-piece toilets, which are many times more compact with a modern look, available soon.
