They are tested in the following areas of expertise: Business Operations, Plans & Specifications, Codes & Law, Pre-Construction, Tools & Equipment, Jobsite Safety, Carpentry, Concrete & Masonry, Roofing & Siding, Insulation, Plumbing, Electrical Systems, Mechanical Systems, Kitchens & Baths, Interior Finishes, and much more.

What is a Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodeler (CKBR)?

NARI Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodelers are professionals who specialize in kitchen and bath remodeling projects. CKBRs possess thorough knowledge in remodeling business management, materials, layout, and installation particular to kitchen and bath renovations, making them an indispensable resource to clients with these specific project needs. This top-tier certification is reserved for highly experienced remodeling professionals who have demonstrated tenure in the industry of a minimum of five years, have satisfied extensive continuing education requirements, and abide by the NARI Code of Ethics and the NARI Standards of Practice. Certified Kitchen and Bath Remodelers are tested in the following five areas of expertise: Business Operations, Building Materials, Kitchen and Bath Layout, Construction Principles, all trades as they relate to kitchen and bath remodeling.
