You’ve reached a point with your home where you have to decide Should I remodel or move? It is a tough decision and it’s helpful to think through what remodeling your home would give you before deciding to sell. Megan Bringman discusses some of the things to consider about your home before deciding to move.

She says, “We get the question a lot, should we stay or should we move? There are a lot of different questions we ask you to think about how your home works for you and what you need out of it.”

Do you need a larger kitchen? If so, is there space in your kitchen that we can expand or redesign? Can we move a wall? Can we knock down a wall?

A location is very important, so if you love your neighborhood and you love your schools, it’s a big deal. A Schloegel designer will talk you through repurposing the spaces you have. For example, maybe you need to bring the washer and dryer up and you prefer to have it on the first or second floor. During the design process, we discuss how we can make that happen.

Kitchens and bathrooms get the greatest return in the market so the improvements that you make will be a great investment, if you should decide to move in the future.
