Last updated on August 31, 2021

The Remodeled Homes Tour hosted by the Kansas City National Association of The Remodeling Industry (NARI), is Saturday, September 18, and Sunday, September 19. After a year and a half off we can’t wait for the tour to start again! The tour is showcasing 11 homes remodeled by local remodeling companies. Schloegel has 2 fabulous homes on the tour and they’re definitely worth seeing in person!

4808 W. 64th Terrace, Prairie Village, KS 66208

Project Designed by Kelly Summers, Project Manager: Don Richeson, Lead Carpenter: Steve Beck

After purchasing his Prairie Village ranch home our client knew he wanted to make updates and put his own stamp on things. First up was a kitchen update, with a more current look, higher quality cabinets, Quartz counters, and marble backsplash. Next on the agenda, remodeling both main level bathrooms.  Each bathroom needed to be brightened up with more current design trend elements. Finally finishing touches throughout including custom wall moldings in the living room and basement take the home from average to wow! Make sure to stop by to take in the beautiful home complete with amazing artwork and furnishings.

Family Room

Project Designed by: Donna Kirsopp, Project Manager: Billy Andrews

We recently shared this project as a series on our blog. Check out Week 1 (Before), Week 2 (The Plan), Week 3 (Family & Dining Rooms), Week 4 (Kitchen), Week 5 (Primary Suite), and Week 6 (Exterior).

The location of this Prairie Village home was paramount for these homeowners, with its proximity to The Shops of Prairie Village. So rather than move for more space, they decided to add on to make it their forever home. The large addition added a kitchen, family room, primary bedroom, primary closet, and screened porch. Another addition added a mudroom and garage. Moreover, nearly every square inch of the home was remodeled with custom touches to create a traditional, rustic style retreat. The two-sided fireplace and patio wrapping the back of the home will have you dreaming about indoor/outdoor living.

If you enjoy seeing remodels as much as we do, you do not want to miss these homes or the other ones on the Remodeled Homes Tour. You can buy your tickets at we’d love for you to stop by and say hi!
